How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as. bright and airy, creative and timeless. My approach to a wedding day is to photograph the event in a photojournalistic way. In order to tell the story of your special day, I capture plenty of candid moments. During Bride and Groom portraits, I do give some direction and suggestions so you know what to do. But at the same time, I like to make sure you show your real personality and enjoy the session, so the photos look natural and candid. During formal family portraits, I direct and pose to ensure a formal look. There's no one word to describe my style; it's a blend of photographic styles depending on what part of the day I am photographing.

What if we don't feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Don't worry, you're not alone! I hear that from most of my clients. During the photo shoot, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease so we may capture natural photos that reveal your true selves and the love between you two. I will give some instructions so you know what to do and don't feel awkward, but, ultimately, I want you to have fun and forget that you are being photographed :)

Do you only photograph weddings?

No, although most of my work is weddings, I also photograph families, newborns, headshots, corporate events, real estate, and product photography in the great Raleigh, NC area and worldwide.

Can we meet in person?

Absolutely! I love meeting new people. Meeting in person lets you get to know me, view sample wedding albums, and ask any questions you may have. I've photographed MANY weddings and I can be a great source of information in your wedding planning process. If you live far away or out of state, I encourage a phone call or video chat. Comparing photographers only on the packages they offer will not give you enough information when deciding on who to hire. You will be spending most of your wedding day with your photographer, so it is good to know if you feel comfortable around her or him. With the Covid-19 pandemic still being a concern, Facetime or other video chat options are highly encouraged instead of in-person meetings.

What is your most popular wedding package?

My 8-hour package is definitely the most popular because it allows me to capture full coverage of a wedding day. I start with the bride and groom getting ready and end with the last event of the reception. For some people getting ready photos are not a priority, then a 6-hour coverage is definitely sufficient.

What are your fees for wedding photography?

My packages start at $4,000. It is best to talk over the phone, so I can explain all the packages I offer and can advise which one would be best for your event. I have separate pricing for off-season weddings and elopements.

When will we get our photos?

First, you will receive a sneak peek of about 10 photos. Then, within 4-6 weeks, you will receive a password-protected online gallery and links to download the edited hi-res photos.

How many photos will I receive?

The number of photos depends on a few variables, like the number of guests, hours of coverage, event dynamics, etc. A typical 8-hour wedding you will receive between 600-800 photos. Plenty to choose from.

Do we have the rights to print our photos?

Yes! You have the rights to print photos for personal use. I highly recommend using a professional photo lab to ensure high-quality prints. You can also order prints through me.

Do you have liability insurance?

Of course! All venues require it from vendors.

What equipment do you use?

Only the best!:) I have a backup for my backup for my backup. After your wedding, your photos are immediately backed up and stored safely.

Are you available for destination weddings?

Yes! Although, the majority of the weddings I photograph are in Raleigh, NC area I am available for destination weddings worldwide.

What is the first look?

First look basically means that you and your partner will see each other before the wedding ceremony. This can be arranged in a few different ways. The benefit of a first look is that it gives you an opportunity to see each other in private before guest arrival. The other advantage is that you can join the cocktail hour and spend time with your guests since the formal family photos will be taken prior to the ceremony. Some people prefer the more traditional approach and choose not to see each other before the ceremony.

Do you offer albums?

Yes, I offer high-quality albums that I highly recommend adding to your package. You can do it either before or after the wedding.

How do we book you?

Easy! In order to secure the date, I require a 30% deposit and a signed contract. With today’s technology, it all can be done on your phone.

Why book you?

Aside from providing the best service and capturing timeless moments of your wedding day, I want the process of working with me to be special and enjoyable from when we first meet to the years after your wedding, when we’re taking your family photos. I will walk with you through the whole process, make sure you are prepared, keep you at ease and excited. This is one of the most important days in your life. I will be truly honored if you choose me to be a part of it!
