Having children in wedding party is definitely optional but who doesn't love to see a cute flower girl and/or ring bearrer walking down the aisle?!Their main duty is to charm the guests, leaving them smiling from ear to ear. I think these two did it very well, they surely melted my heart! According to the Brides magazine having flower girls and ring bearer is not a must anymore in the recent years "You can even give this role to a pet who is trained and able to follow the cue of when to walk down the aisle. Some people are inviting their grandparents to walk down the aisle instead. The idea is to incorporate them into your big day and honor them in some way." As much as I love grandmas walking in the wedding processional, nothing beats the cutness of little kids in their festive attaires! Why not have both?!:)
