Oh, how I love photographing wedding cakes! I captured this photo at an elopement in Raleigh, NC , so the cake is not a typical multi-tier but it was exactly what the bride and groom envisioned for their celebration and it matched perfectly the elegant feel of the wedding. What I have seen from the wedding cake industry in recent years is that cakes are getting small, unique in versatile ways. With the wedding guests getting smaller and minimonies, micro weddings and elopements being more popular due to Covid-19, small cakes are also more popular than in the previous years. Small or big cake, most brides and grooms love having the traditional cake cutting moment at their wedding!
