Oh, what an amazing wedding! I loved being a part of this special celebration of love. As a Raleigh wedding photographer, I love it when the wedding is outdoors while the weather is just perfect!!! Vic and Billy got married in early summer surrounded by their family and friends. They decided to keep it traditional and not to do the first look, but Vic did a first look with her dad. I loved that they included their beloved dog in their wedding!

Photographing first looks is one of my favorites at any wedding because it is full of emotions! First looks between bride and groom are very popular but first looks between bride and bridesmaids or first looks between dad and the bride are becoming as popular in recent years! I love capturing these special moments!
We all know that having a flower girl and ring bearer at a wedding is a pretty common tradition. Who doesn’t love to see cute little kids walking down the aisle in their festive wedding attire!? Today’s couples are beginning to opt against many wedding traditions, so if you don’t want to incorporate an expected element, don’t. Vic decided to have flower man?! To be honest it was my first time seeing and photographing a flower man! He was so hilarious I had a hard time capturing him walking down the aisle because I was laughing so hard! He threw rose petals, he threw shot-size tequila bottles to the wedding guests, and he drank beer! But see for yourself below;)
