As a Napa wedding photographer, I love capturing weddings at the gorgeous Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford. This venue is perfect for elopements, proposals, engagement intimate weddings, as well as larger weddings up to 150 guests. With breathtaking views, five-star accommodations and service, and a Michelin Star-rated restaurant, weddings, and events at Auberge du Soleil are unforgettable.

This lovely couple along with many of their family and friends traveled into the Napa Valley from South California and China. The wedding day was full of emotions and happiness and I loved being able to document it for the bride and groom. The day started with getting ready of the bride followed by the first look at the beautiful Olive Grove ( my favorite place to photograph at Auberge Du Soleil)! Right after we photographed portraits of the bride and groom which tuned out very romantic. After the portraits, we made it back upstairs for the formal family and wedding party photos. These went very smoothly since this group was very organized, which always makes my job easier, and their day smoother. Win-win for all!

Finally came the time for the ceremony to begin, I could tell the bride was anxious to see everyone and marry her best friend! As a wedding photographer, I get excited about things like clouds, which were especially gorgeous that day! The stunning hilltop view from the Auberge Du Soleil ceremony site was even more picturesque with the amazing clouds that lightly covered the sky that day.

This couple decided not to have dancing but focus on mingling with their guests while live music was being played, which as a big hit. The guests enjoyed one another’s company admiring the stunning views of Napa Valley on the terrace while tasting delicious food and world-class wine from the 5-star restaurant. Then everyone was invited inside for dinner followed by dessert bar served on the terrace. The couple rented outdoor furniture for the deck where the evening ended with everyone mingling outside above twinkling string lights.
